Interesting Agronomic Video’s to get you thinking early about 2012’s Cropping Practices

Happy New Year!!  I hope you all had a great Christmas and a happy and safe new year!!!

With the new year come planning our cropping systems & strategies for this years crops.  I stumbled upon the website www.agweb.com which has some really good videos regarding agronomics practices from tillage to technology.  Below I have added a couple favorites I found, just click on the link and it goes directly to he video on their website.

This video deals with: Sulfur deficiencies, corn standability & stalk rots, checking corn pollination,  finding compaction layers, dealing with corn residue, making sure you are running your inline deep ripper correctly.

Can you believe that McDonald’s has the best pro farmer ads out there??   Check out these video’s about  Potato, Beef, and Lettuce farmers.  I’ve got to admit watching these ads McDonalds makes me proud to be a farmers!  They just need a good hamburger and I might eat there!
